Gothic Line Prayer Journey Day 6

Day 6 was a productive day, we started with the word "Compassion"  and we carried it through to six different places.  First we went to La Bastia and walk about 2 hours round trip on partially marked paths (some marked by us).  When we arrived to the top I asked the Lord for a sign, this time it was for something white When we were walking around the top Joyce noticed a white piece of plastic tied to a tree.  Again we were engulfed in the ever present fog which came just after we arrived.  I'm still in awe of His ways.

After leaving there we went to a town just a the base of the hill a little nothing town (maybe 20 houses) called Margine di Mornigno.  I'm sure that there was a lot of activity in a domestic manner replenishing supplies and the such during the war and a very strategic point on the mountain as it was at a crossroad.

Sasso Cireglio was another 2 hour journey that was nicely marked.  In fact the Mountain Society has put benches and picnic tables at this peak.  There were also huge trenches and a big bbq in the trench itself.  When we were up there I just sensed that there was laughing like mockery, almost to say we have taken the best spot and have taken your food and we laugh at you people.  We just prayed and asked the Lord for forgiveness because of this.

Onward to Fabbiana, a sweet little town which is positioned  on the Gothic Line. We staked claim, prayed and moved on.
Onward to Mt. Lattai which is set in the National Forest. Driving on a very poor road asking where this place was we started to hit the famous fog so we knew we were in the right spot so we stopped and staked, prayed and took communion again.  At this point we decided head home. Again we were wet, tired and hungry.  This really was a great day.  Despite being exhausted we felt just a joy and peace in our spirits.
